Cookie Policy

Every cookie and item of browser storage used on this site is listed below, together with what it is for. It does not take long to read.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

At a glance

  • There is only one cookie on this site, and the site cannot work without it. It appears when you sign in, register, reset a password or send a form.
  • Your browser also holds a handful of small local and session storage entries. They note whether you have confirmed your age, whether you closed the cookie notice, which games you opened lately and when your visit began for the timer.
  • Nothing here is used for analytics, advertising or tracking, and no such cookies are set.

Local and session storage entries

NameWherePurposeLasts
ovz_ageLocal storageRecords that you confirmed you are 18 or older, which saves the age question being repeated on each pageUntil you clear site data
ovz_noticeLocal storageRecords that you closed the cookie noticeUntil you clear site data
ovz_recentLocal storageHolds the list of games you opened lately so that My account can display themUntil you clear it or clear site data
ovz_startSession storageDrives the visit timer and the break reminders shown every 30 minutesUntil you close the tab
ovz_age_deniedSession storageNotes that you answered “under 18”, so the age gate remains closed for the rest of this visitUntil you close the tab

These entries stay in your browser. None of them is ever sent to our server.

Our session cookie

NamePurposeLastsType
ovz_sidHolds your signed-in state and guards the sign-in and contact forms against forged requests. It is set when you sign in, register, reset a password or open a page that contains a form.Until you close your browserStrictly necessary, first-party, HTTP-only

The site cannot do what you ask of it without this cookie, so no consent is needed for it.

Outside services and content

  • Google. Google’s sign-in script is loaded only at the moment you press “Continue with Google”. While you sign in through Google’s window it may set cookies of its own; Google’s cookie information explains how.
  • Games. Games are delivered from our own domain and run within our pages, yet they count as third-party content. During play a game may save its own settings or credit balances in your browser storage, or set cookies of its own.
  • Linked organisations. If you follow a link to GamCare, BeGambleAware or similar organisations, you are visiting services that operate under their own policies.

The site uses no Google Analytics or other analytics tool, no advertising network, no social-media pixel and no third-party font service.

Taking control

Your browser’s settings (search for “cookies” or “site data”) let you block or remove cookies and stored site data. Blocking the session cookie stops sign-in and the forms from working. If you clear storage, the age question will appear again, and your recent games and any settings the games saved will be erased.

If this page changes

Should what we store ever change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will show the latest revision. For more on how your information is handled, see our Privacy Policy. You can also put questions to us through the contact form.
